Hospitality Maintenance & Daily Care 

We are seeking a highly motivated, attentive and hands-on person to join our hospitality enterprise in a role dedicated to the regular and daily maintenance, care, presentation and upkeep of our premises.

This is not simply a job where you wait to be told what needs to be done.

We are looking for someone who takes pride, ownership and personal responsibility for the environment in which our guests stay and experience our hospitality.

THIS IS A ROLE FOR SOMEONE WHO TAKES OWNERSHIP

Management will, of course, provide direction, priorities and responsibilities.

However, we are not looking for someone who only completes a list of instructions.

We want someone who walks through the property with their eyes wide open.

If you notice a light that is not working — you report it or arrange for it to be addressed.

If you see something that needs tightening, cleaning, adjusting, repairing or improving — you take action.

If an area looks tired — you don’t simply walk past it.

If something could be presented better for our guests — you notice it.

If you finish your assigned tasks — you look around and ask yourself what else can be done to maintain the highest possible standard.

A perfectly functioning door, an immaculate common area, a well-maintained piece of furniture, a clean and presentable exterior, a small repair carried out before it becomes a problem — these are the details that demonstrate care, professionalism and respect for our guests and our property.

We therefore need someone who understands that excellence is achieved through hundreds of small acts of attention every day.

MORE THAN A JOB

This engagement is particularly suited to a person who enjoys being active, responsible and useful, and who takes genuine satisfaction from seeing a property maintained to a high standard.

“Nobody told me to do it.”

You will be expected to contribute ideas, identify areas for improvement and demonstrate initiative in the day-to-day running and upkeep of the property.

THE RIGHT PERSON

You do not necessarily need to have a long list of qualifications.

What matters greatly to us is your attitude, work ethic, reliability, practical ability, attentiveness and determination to do things properly.

Experience in hospitality, hotels, guesthouses, property maintenance, facilities, general repairs or similar environments will be considered an advantage.

A valid driving licence and practical maintenance skills may also be advantageous.
